The course programme is divided into 10 weeks, designed to safely develop the individual to train and exercise to their own ability.
Over the 10 weeks beginners wanting to run will start with a brisk walk and develop to jogging with some distance and over gentle hills. Progression to more strenuous runs can be offered through the Oldham Outdoor Pursuits Partnership or a number of other running clubs/organisations around the borough.
